Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. I'm feeling really anxious today. There are 2 reasons. First my room in the personal care home where I live is cold, the heat is not working. The only person who can fix it is the administrator, and he has not been in in over a week. State regulations say that the temperature has to be at least 70 degrees and I'm sure it's in the low 60's. The thermostat is locked and none of the staff members has the key. This morning I finally emailed the ombudsman about it. Maybe she has the administrator's home phone number and can reach him. I don't know what else to do. I'm just tired of having to dress in 3 layers of clothing. Nobody else in the house has to do that.
The other thing is there is a pair of shoes online that I want very badly but I don't have enough money right now. They have 3 pairs left in stock. I get paid on Wednesday. They're not going to get any more in this particular style. The reason I need them is my feet have started swelling and I need a wide width. I have the same style in a medium width and I can no longer wear them. I'm so afraid they're going to sell them all before I get the money. I know it seems like a minor problem but I don't shop for shoes often and I have trouble getting ones that fit.

She said that there is always going to be cheap stuff to buy, but do I need it? The answer is mostly "no". So today, I am taking back some things that I bought online at Kohl's, namely a 9 x 12 rug and a quilt for my bed. I also bought sheets that I don't need...
There should be a state or federal agency number you can call to report the lack of heat.
