Anxiety does all that and more. It's your helper so obviously you are in 'distress' from the overwhelming 'stress' you've been experiencing.
When the doctor says everything is normal, they mean physically they are finding that your body is within normal range.
So, get up, take a walk, look for beauty in nature, doodle, draw, paint, write, and visit someone just to distract your usual thought pattern. The more you reach out of your normal routine, the easier it will be to see what's really bothering you inside.
yup, anxiety can do all that, and more. it is not "all in your head." anxiety sets off very physical chemical reactions which produce some very physical manifestations. i've had doctors compare anxiety reactions to methamphetamines. the long-term effects can be devastating.
anxiety management is my own approach to countering those effects. mid mentioned several of the distractions i use for my anxiety management.
