My anxiety has been really bad lately. I seem to worry about EVERTHING and I mean everything. My son asked me today when I picked him up from school if I could take him to the gym to workout. Any normal person, if they had time to do so, which I do, would have said "sure". I mean that's a healthy thing for a kid to want to do right? Well, because I'm such a wimp and it is out of my comfort zone and I'm afraid of panic attacks...I can't take him. It is the worst feeling in the world and I know that he doesn't understand it. All through the years I've gone through spells like this and could get through them with relative ease and disguise...now my kids are getting bigger and they are starting to see for themselves...all about me and my anxiety. Everytime I turn around one of them is wanting to go somewhere or do something and I feel like I can't do it. Used to, something like that could happen..and I'd have enough time in between to start working on some skills and then get em next time and feel normal. Now, they are hitting me so fast, left and right, wanting to go here and there..I just feel overwhelmed and I feel like a horrible mother. Any support please..I don't really have anyone I can talk to about this.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
You can do this. Just tell yourself you are doing this for your son. It's not your problem, it is an activity your son wants to do, go for it!
Anxiety will lessen when we embrace it into our natural balance. Movement will lessen the chemical "anxiety" and you will feel better much quicker. Keep the box of kleenex handy because the more you do, the more you will cry out the toxins until you get to your normal balance. I found that once I handled my tears as part of the anxiety, they eventually lessened, and even when I get the "I don't wanna" , I put the activity as yes it can be done.
Go for it!
You'll feel better, you really will!
