But hang in there, we've all had it and it is horrible I agree.... I am seeing a counselor once a week and it helps, but honestly I feel like seeing him twice a week lol. It sounds like you had so so much happen at once and it is a lot to take in. Do you eat a healthy diet? I was told to change my diet too not just for stress reasons but for my Barrett's. (I am also stressed about that). I am hoping changing my diet will make huge differences in my anxiety. I haven't noticed anything yet lol. I do plan to join the lady gym here in town. Hoping that will help. Also taking walks with a friend or your pet helps me tons, have you tried that? I'll post my story in a new thread later tonight. I think you are all wonderful and it helps to see others dealing with the same and coping.
I was told by my therapist that years of not properly coping and dealing with stressful times is what caused mine. We also documented and looked back on my panic attacks and discovered the peak times for my panic attacks was just before, during and just after my period. She said it was linked to the hormonal change. Chances are, if you are hitting menopause then the hormonal change has a lot to do with it.
