Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I think it's very likely that he's just frustrated because nothing he does can make you better. Sure, it can help in the short term, but then when you start getting anxious again it's probably (if you're anything like me) about the same things, again and again. Try not to over think his recent behavior; it's very likely that he wants nothing more than to help you, and the fact that there's only so much he can do might be making him feel useless. Just make sure you thank him for the help he does give at every chance you get. He might keep pulling away for awhile, but if he really has been good and supportive, I'm sure he'll come back and be that supportive man again. Try to wait patiently, and don't make him feel guilty about it.

If you haven't before, I suggest you read Dr. John Gray's book "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus". He gives a lot of attention to this sort of situation, and although he's talking about "normal" people who don't necessarily have issues with anxiety, the points he makes still very much apply. Actually, I think they might apply even more, since what we experience is the same thing other people experience, only more intense...

i feel the exact same way. i feel awful because when i'm "in it" it's all i can talk about. he actually once told me that i wasn't fun anymore. but, he also said, I am your husband and this is whaty i signed up for. so now when i feel like i am complaining to much i make a joke of it, like "jeez you married a crazy person." or "oh well, legally i am aloud to do this to you!" it makes me feel better at least. but you need to talk to him about how you are feeling. my husband has never dealt with anything close to this and he is the one that understands what i am going through the most. good luck!

I have started making sure that If I talk about something negative for a moment, after I get my main point acrross, I'll stop, and then ask him something about his day, or try to start a conversation about something I know he likes. It helps not just him, but I feel better as well because I get my mind off myself and my troubles.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
