My experience is they never last more than 3 days, and during that time it is very important to keep doing your chores. Cry, rant, whatever you need to do. Once this is properly and fully behind you, it will never be in front of you again. So make sure you experience it completely, and think about it fully, and do not stop nutting away at it until you come to a centred, sensible, positive understanding.

Plus capturing and editing pictures and/or video of family events like weddings happens to be how I'm primarily making my living, so the money's an added motivator for plodding forward with the work too.

You should try keep your mind busy and try to find happiness in small things.
Things that help me are: listening to music (also helps when I'm hearing obsessive voices, which happened with my Schizoaffective Disorder), binge-watching quality TV, watching movies, yoga, exercise, Youtube videos, writing, painting, doing multiple tarot readings in one sitting, and drinking coffee. Really anything you want to do is fine as long as it distracts you.
