Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
My wife has always been pretty strong. Covid was a little hard but we were good financially, decided to move to an area where we always wanted to go and now she is profoundly depressed, anxious, and stressed. Whereas before she could handle children and a job well, even small things stress her, she feels her life is unsettled. Finding a house has been a difficult and the real estate market is challenging today. She is constantly hugging and apologizing to me and only half in jest, I said, you need to yell at me and blame me for problems like other wives do.
What should I do, tell her things are basically fine, we can try to make good decisions, and not look back does not seem to help.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. I feel for you. It's difficult to document just where the depressive conditions begin. And it is not incredible that she's feeling low because this is really a big change going on now for your family. Maybe that she just did not have enough time to think about it. She's not feeling it. Has she had emotional problems before? Do you feel that making a doctor's appointment is due? Please think about these questions as much as you can. I'll try to help by leaving reading resources here. And don't lose hope. This is medical literature laced with cases related to what you and your wife deal with. And this will help you to stay ahead of any serious situations unforeseen.

I've tried to be open and communicative but right now my wife is harping on her own fault and what was done wrong previously as opposed to what we should do now. Since men tend to be problem-solvers, that's hard to deal with. My wife says she wants support but since the focus is on talking about how she made bad choices, there seems to be little I can do.
