Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Based on my experience what you feel sounds like anxiety.
.05mg Xanax is a low dose for extreme anxiety.
Try to consult your doctor or pharmacist about this soon.
Hope you get better soon.
I wish your hubbie has a prompt recovery.
Big Hugs
There is no sense in getting worried about the out come of the future because it hasn't happen yet. Try to relax and see the dr.
Cheers!
I went through the same thing last summer!
I experienced tight neck muscles, exhaustion, headaches, loss of appetite, weight loss, hairloss, etc.
It is amazing how the body will react to stressful events in your life.
Please, talk this over with your Doctor. I did, and he was able to help me through this difficult time.
Like most others have said, talk to your doctor asap. We on the internet can't safely give you advice about medication etc., but... .05mg of Xanax IS a really low dose. Actually, I'm almost sure you mean .5mg - the orange ones - and that you're taking half of one of those. 1mg xanax are blue (at least for the generics, and I think this is true of the brand name as well).
Again, please call your doctor, or a pharmacy, but I think you're fine to take a little more xanax if in fact you are only taking 1/2 of a .5mg pill.
Stressfull events allways trigger my anxiety.
Im glad your husband is ok now and hope he makes a good recovery.
Big Hug,s xx.
1st thing .05mg Xanax is NOT enough for
this kind of Anxiety
Xanax has an extremely short half life ( it doesn't work long in other words )
I have been taking 1mg Xanax 3-4 times a day for 22 years.
I have , ok I will group them all together here and call it
Nervous Illness ( mine is Panic and Anxiety Disorder with secondary Phobias )
2nd I AM where you are!
My kids Dad ( was married to him 24 years ) passed away lasy May
and then my now soon to be Ex had 2 massive heart attacks
and open heart surgery 2 weeks later so, yes I can relate.
You have Extreme anxiety and please discuss this with your Dr OR
even better his Dr!!
They have to know how your suffering hon and I also have the " tight neck " " missed beats " and so much more...
I have suffered this all for 22 years now and I feel your pain & confusion here.
Get your Dr's advice ( many M.D.'s refuse to Rx Xanax now ) because
they didn't know until 5 years AFTER this Miracle drug hit the U.S.
that it is addictive ( My Dr calls this a tolerance )
Let us know how it goes..
Many Hopes & prayers
