Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Okay so I need some advice and its been eating away at me and gives me anxiety because I don't know what to do. so I have a a really close friend that I'm starting to have feelings for. But there's some issues. One being I'm usually a quiet guy and not very good in the dating world. Most of my relationships have been from online dating mostly because I'm not good at asking people out in person and its hard for me to tell if they feel the same way about me unless they straight up tell me. So its easier to do that online. I suck at reading signals. We've been friends for a while now and have grown really close. I have developed feelings for her. I haven't felt this way in a long time about someone. The thing is I don't wanna risk telling her and her not feeling the same way and it becoming awkward and slowly stop talking to eachother. Even if I can't have her in my life romantically I would still like to be friends with her and I don't wanna risk the friendship by telling her and her not feeling the same way . when I grow to like a friend I tend to not tell them unless I'm almost positive they feel the same way

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I've known women I was interested in and they told me up front, it was just a friendship. And.... often it remained a good friendship.
I'm inclined to think you probably dwell on certain girls to the point of being obsessive. I take it your Anxiety is Social Anxiety?
I'm not meaning to be rude here. I know to little about you.
Most women let men know in many ways.
She'll be sitting next to you and have her hand on your leg, talking. You do something nice and she kisses your cheek. Many subtle signs.
If you don't move quick, she may think YOU just want friendship.
That does not mean to rush telling them. You can figure out what the right time to tell them is
You do NOT have to say anything. Those feelings will give you motivation to either do something positive and pleasant or you will remain stuck until you actually do something.
Take a moment, review your conversations, and exactly what words are used. This will help guide you as to whether you are "thinking pattern" instead actually working the words in the conversations.
Fear of feeling is normal...it really is. Take it as a friend, and go on from that point.
It will express in your actions, your response, and you will see the changes as you change your response and learn without damaging the relationship.
Best wishes.
