Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope you have all been doing well! I have been semi okay, I know I haven't updated much on here as of recent. So I have PCOS apparently, which is a little frustrating... but I'm learning to deal with my symptoms and actively trying to incorporate more healthy choices ( going to the gym.. even though it is hard for me.. I'm making it a habit) as well as being more soft with myself and more understanding of how I am feeling. I have been okay, however I have fallen into a dilemma.
So I recently heard that the organization where I receive therapy from is no longer going to be taking my insurance (lack of communication from my insurance with them, as well as payments, etc), and also I am having the same issue with getting a doctor's appointment because my insurance hasn't signed off on this upcoming year's contracts (frustrating). So I tried looking at how to change my insurance plan so that I could continue to have therapy with my therapist who I have been with for more than 2 years now.. but.. it is looking like I won't be able to change it until next year... So... I am a little anxious about it. I didn't do well when my therapist had leave for a while and I was with a new therapist... so I'm not entirely sure how I will do if I can't change my insurance...
So if you guys have any advice on what to do or if you have gone through this as well? I would greatly appreciate it. I would also like to know what the transition was for you when you left your longtime therapist? Or if you were able to change insurance plans and how you went about it? Any advice would be helpful!

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
i'm so fed up with the insurance shuffle that i pay out of pocket in between maintaining safe social distances from the entire medical industry. you can barely get medical services without insurance, so it's all the same industry to me and it bites bigger than a clerk's hemorrhoids. i haven't had a physical since 1995 when i started getting age-related tests shoved down my throat. thank you kindly, ma'am/sir. i ain't spending my last days in waiting rooms and attempting to understand insurance policies.
Hard choices, and as Arfie mentions, it's not easy.
Maybe you can send a letter to your states department of insurance to briefly complain about the issue. Give them facts, keep a copy, and say what insurance company this is, what your member ID is, etc. And you can write to your insurance company with the brief complaint.
I’ve been on Marketplace insurance for 8 years and just transitioned to Original Medicare. I know better than to go the cheapest route. I’ve seen too many of the cheaper insurance policies pay for nothing and no provider takes them in my career. This should be illegal.
