If you have the MTHFR gene mutation (super common) it means you aren't getting enough folate (B6), so the treatment is to avoid folic acid (the way most people get folate but doesn't work for people with this mutation) and to take a different sort of folate. Super easy fix.
It could be another vitamin deficiency - B12 or iron or D. Another easy fix.
It could be a thyroid issue - so they just give you a medicine for that to replace the hormone.
Anxiety is a very common issue with a lot of possible but most of the time there's a stress trigger - a new job, a move, someone passing away, friends moving, and so on.
I hope they do find the answer and it's a simple solution.

also remember something that you could basically manage by taking antihistamines----don't remember what that was though...
