Has anyone heard of relationship OCD otherwise known as ROCD. I am currently in a relationship about 2 months. I met him 10 years ago had great connection but circumstances we did not go on more than two meets but did not work out no ones fault just didn't. Met up and things went really fast everything first month wonderful now I am just in free fall anxiety is he the right one do I love him as much as he loves me? Ruminating catastrophic thinking. I know it's new but it feels like I have been waiting 10 years and we had such a connection even when we met recently then boom my anxiety my what if thinking me questioning everything. I am a mess can't concentrate at work always on my mind. This happens alot when ever something new happens in my life buy a house and having anxiety about that too

Are you buying a new house in addition to establishing a new romance? Inside my own skin, that would be more than enough stress to trigger my anxiety loops. Keep venting. Keep sorting.

Buying a house for the first time is quite allot, all by itself. I'm a bit of a real estate mogul and I still short circuit on all the complexity of the process. Then we get to the stress of moving. In my own case, I don't always live in the properties I buy. Moving is yet another can of stress worms. Between the two, you have more than enough stress worms to wiggle their way into every aspect of your life, especially relationships.
Just curious here, but is this fellow involved in the house buying and moving?
I don't have allot of personal experience with codependency, but I do know it is allot more complex than love/don't love. I buy the analogy which compares it to addiction, but my lack of personal experience blinds me to an awful lot.
Where are you in the buying process?
