General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

This anxiety gets so old! I had to take me and the kids to the dentist today. Something I always dread.....but manage to get through...without anyone knowing i'm anxious. You all know how important it is for noone to know what's going on inside us. We always want to appear in control at all times. Well today I bombed......I have been having some dizziness lately with my sinuses and allergies but mostly I think because of anxiety....kind of a new symptom for me. Well anyway...
I'm in the chair and I am hot and I am dizzy and I asked for water and it was very obvious that something was going on with me....when I was leaving I apologized for being a baby patient and she even made mention of how I had not seemed my normal self today....something none of us ever want to hear. When it's just the anxiety alone of going to the dentist...I can get through it pretty well....but I have had so much stressing me out lately. Self destructive family members, finances etc... I know the dizziness is somewhat from the dizzy sinus headaches I get but I think I am hyper focused on that symptom right now and letting it scare me to death....therefore creating more stress......I have a bad habit of holding everything inside myself unttil I feel I will explode....I guess I need to start journaling or something to get all these things that are bothering me....out of me....I have got to find some good stress reduction exercises . I wish I could get it through my thick skull that if I would do some type of stress reduction exercise everyday then maybe it wouldn't ever get to this point....you'd think after 41 years I'd of learned something. Thanks for reading.....feels good to rant sometimes.

I give you a lot of credit for having children even with your anxiety issues. The idea of of being a mom and having to look calm and controlled all the time seems like a nightmare to me so congratulations for being so brave. I wish you well, and hope tomorrow is better for you.

I know exactly how you feel Erica! Putting on the brave face for the sake of others when inside you are falling apart. I do it daily. The aches and pains associated with anxiety cause me anxiety too. Especially the chest pain...freaks me out at times. I am an intelligent, rational person yet I allow this anxiety to get the best of me. Ranting/venting is fantastic. I know for me exercise has helped in the past....but frankly I am in a rut right now. Hang in there!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
