Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

If this isn't too stupid a question: do you take a lot of vitamin b complex vitamins? because I have found they help my anxiety. They can make an enormous difference to me.
Do you know what sets your anxiety off? And can you get a hug from mum or dad when it kicks in? Does that help? Telling a friend often helps me because when I talk about whatever terrible thing I think I've done, I generally realise it wasn't that bad.
Welcome to the group!
Or are you too skinny and don't eat well? Because I've seen bad anxiety in skinny people, and I don't know which comes first, but I think it's the lack of nutrients.
There have been recent studies on bombarding people with very high doses of micronutrients to fix mental disorders, actually at Otago University I believe, and a link has been proven.
Also It's important to get tested for the MTHFR Gene mutation which a few people on this site have found out they had. The test is apparently cheap, a mouth swab. The cure is also cheap; and again it's micronutrients.
I suggest you take a berocca and/or a multivitamin every day though, just to see if it helps with the background anxiety. :)
