Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
In the past month and a half I've developed a major anxiety problem thats made me feel anxious about pretty much everything, even writing this post. This anxiety manifests the majority of the time as a desperate need to go to the toilet. I've been unable to catch public transport, which has left me relying on relatives going out of their way to take me and pick me up from school. Over my two week school holiday break, these anxious feelings have brought on depressive symptoms that I dealt with about a year ago. I've had extremely miniscule fleeting thoughts of suicide that are not something to be overly concerned about, but I'm still scared that this problem could ruin a part of my life. I've been open about this to my family and am seeking help through the use of a psychologist, however I feel I'm getting worse.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

I don't know how valuable praise from a multiply certified nutjob like me is, but kudos on finding the courage to open up about your problems. Just to prove how crazy I am, I feel far more inspired by people who are able to confront their inner demons than the folks who run into burning buildings to rescue babies. Rescuing babies feels like natural instinct to this crazy mother. Facing my inner demons? ? ? Instinct carries me in the opposite direction. Turning around and facing my inner demons head on is MUCH harder than rescuing babies in my psychotic delusion.
And here you are. . . Courage personified. . . Can I touch the hem of your robe?
