i haven't filed taxes since 2018 because i was on disability and didn't make enough money. For 2025, I have to file. Two weeks ago, I sat down at my computer with all of my paperwork. I went to irs.gov for the free filing and picked OLT, which my best friend has used for years. It asked if I received a 1095 and i didn't know so I contacted my health insurance via chat and they sent me a pdf. I tried to open it but i had to update the pdf reader and then all hell broke loose. I got constant pop-ups. I had to call McAfee. I had a very nice young man fix the pop-ups and other things on my phone and he extended my old plan but made a new plan. So that cost me $96 that i wasn't expecting to pay but my phone is working much better. Anyway, I was too tired to get back to my taxes. So, in the end, this ended up to be a blessing because I am planning to itemize my medical expenses and I forgot about my chiropractor bill which was $5,880 out-of-pocket. So on Sunday, I plan to do my taxes. I am really hoping to get a refund.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Anyway after doing the taxes (but he hadn’t submitted them yet) my husband comes into my office kind of wincing like he had a cramp or bad gas, or something and he’s like, yeeaaahhh… it looks like we might owe about $15,000. I about had a stroke.
Well he redid them the next day and realized he missed entering something. One little thing can make a huge impact, but disaster averted, haha!
