Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Sleep helps me so much. When I don't get the proper sleep I am grumpy. And I have to eat otherwise I feel like I got no energy. It's like a car running on no gas. I love to take walks. Just looking at all the beautiful nature and getting fresh air, kinda of clears my mind. Doing photography is nice too. I take a lot of pictures too. And yes taking a bath with some nice relaxing oil in it is great. And I light candles too. I too love music. All kinds. It gets me up and going. And talking with friends helps out a lot staying connected. Art to is very soothing and creative to the mind. Good for you. You sound like your handling your anxiety well. Italianmomma
Now on to the worse part. Overthinking is not good to do. Don't keep thinking about it. Watching the news now a days is depressing to me. And some movies I won't watch either if there sad. I like more comedies. And yes I'm with you on the lack of sleep. I can get really nasty if I'm tired. Usually my husbands gets it. Lol
Poor guy. He always tells me to go take a nap. I have to tell you I had a hard time expressing my feelings and just kept everything to myself. Things bothered me all the time, but I just never said anything. I think it was the way I was brought up. My family was like you had to keep your mouth shut. And not express how you feel.
But know that I'm alittle older and wiser, I just let it all hang out. I just say how I feel and get it off my chest and I feel so much better. No more keeping it bottled up. I did that to long. Try expressing yourself more.
I've heard that Magnesium helps. I'm gonna have to try that. And if it helps me sleep better I'm all for that. I don't ever watch the news it's too depressing. I do walk everyday with my dog. I just bought some multi vitamins too. I always try my best to be kind to people and if I can help them in anyway possible I will do it. It makes me feel good. I also do a couple of Bible Study Classes on line that I enjoy. I think having God in my life has really helped my anxiety and having a great support team too. Hugs and blessings to you! Thanks for sharing all your great ideas. Italianmomma
