My anxiety has been pretty rough lately and behind that I've had some depression too. It's been dormant for a good year and a half. I just had a baby nine months ago and I'm working full time too. My doctor bumped my zoloft up to 150 two weeks ago and it has only made me feel super out of it. I was feeling a little out if it before but over he last weeks its been a lot worse. I don't even feel like I'm here. I can't tell if it is a symptom of the depression or from my medication increase. I talked to my doctor and he is changing my sleep med. I was on trazadone. He said that may be causing it. I didn't even need a sleep med when I was in the Lower dose. I hate this feeling. I want to be present for my daughter and I am doing my best but I just feel so out of it all the time. I've never experienced this before.

Stay Strong, hugs!
Postpartum depression is often difficult to manage, to find the best method to improve normal daily living activities, and when you add the sleep pattern changes, it's even more strange symptoms to the mix.
One of the first things we did to separate the symptoms was to take a short walk four times a day. (The stroller kept me standing some days). After a week of this, I saw a significant improvement in the sleep, and then after the second week, I was able to leave "the bubble" behind. The monthly cycle started to find a rhythm and then the better days become more than the not so great days.
Best wishes. You are not alone in this, and I hope the right drug combination is found soon for you, so you can sleep and enjoy your little one!
