Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Its also been hard for me to talk when i have alot of anxiety - i run out of breath SOOO FAST.
When you say you get dizzy when you lift weight, do you mean room spinning dizzy, or just lighthead? If the room literally spins when you lift weight, I don't think that is normal and I would definitely get a second opinion. If you just feel a bit lightheaded, I would say, especially after your normal tests, that it is just anxiety related. Same with the heat issues. If I didn't know how to talk myself down from a panic attack, I would be panicking every time I got out of the hot tub. Because I always get lighteaded and woozy and my heart pounds. It is just a side effect from the heat, but it can trigger anxiety in somebody who is afraid of those sensations.
If it would make you feel better, maybe you should just go see another doctor and see what they think? It might give you some peace of mind.
When you get ready to faint, as I have done (but it isn't anxiety related), it is like you are in a black tunnel and everything just closes in around you are then you're out. There is generally not much warning. So if you are walking around for 2 hours feeling as though you are going to faint, chances are great that you aren't going to faint because you would already have done it by now. Hope that makes sense!
I NEED A TYPE OF GRL LIKE U IN MY LIIFEE! lol
Na but YES!!!! I HAVE BEEN LAYING DOWN FOR LIKE A WHOLLEEE 2-3 MONTHS BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID OF THE FEELING! actually it started to happen when i was under a lot of stress and dnt realize i was and when i was going up and down the stairs and playing with kids i couldnt...i was feeling weak and when i would bend down and get up i would get these little black or white spots in my eyes that scared me so much felt like i was gonna faint...
i would think really negative like " omg if i faint will anyone save me???"
SOMETIMES things around me wuold get black but for the most part it wasnt that major but i will say it was more of a scared feeling
and with the lifting weights, i remeber wen i first started lefting weight, before i had my little episode outside "almost passed out" i knew i was lifting too heavy weight and after a couple days/weeks i started to see those little black spots and got dizzy and anxious when i was lifting...
Sincei was a little girl my mom and her family says very scary things and also attended a funeral of my unlces when i was 9/8 right next to the coffin....

BUT I ONLY feel this way now that im high in anxiety and panic these couple of months
i used to be able to leave without my phone, bare the heat, run, be active.
now i feel like i have phobias, im scared of depression, i feel like things r much bigger than they are and im stuck in a big cloud of negative thoughts! I KNOW things arent bad as they seem, and its hard for my dad to handle too and i feel alone.

Im trying to find budd in philly who has anxiety and panic and we can help eachother out!
Also when im on the tredmill i get so nervouse!
but its AFETRWARDS that i get the very very high anxiety!..
Sorry I prob shouldn't be typing this on my phone!! Haha
Yes, I know all too well the downsides of laying around all day. I am a lazy person at heart and before I had kids, I used to lay on my butt all day long! And I always had the dizziness because of it. Now I have 5 kids and no time to lay down...EVER.....and no more dizziness.
I am perplexed by the weight lifting thing though. Do you have to bend over to pick the weights up off the floor, and maybe that is what is making you dizzy? If I had to bet 5 bucks on what it was....I would say it was your anxiety causing you to feel those symptoms combined with too heavy of weight maybe? But I don't know. We need Dr. House, I think! lol
Im so anxious about the heat tomorrow!
And @ Jewoods, my endocrynologist said that my thyroid is at normal levels, i mean i had anxiety and panic attacks since i was 9 - but the thyroid may be causing it to highten more. I REALLYY HATTTEEE having to take medication for it - i think medications do good but also bad for other things. I REALLY wanna try to reverse it with a naturopath with herbs and acupuncture. Im afraid it will come back though but i really wanna try it.
