Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. I need to vent because I'm really frustrated. Why the hell is everyone saying the same thing and giving the same advice? I go on many different forums regarding sleep and anxiety and there's nothing new to be learned. Everyone is just regurgitating the same unhelpful advice, it seems, just so that they could put in their two cents. I found out a few weeks ago that I have a severe vitamin D deficiency; however, I never even knew that such a thing existed until someone said it on Youtube among the millions who were saying the same dam things "oh, get your thyroid checked" "drink 8 cups of water per day? "you need to sleep" (no s#$t) "drink some chamomile tea". It's like we can not think beyond unhelpful, bulls%^t we already know about and that does not work for most of us. However, I look through so many posts on here and other places and everyone is on repeat mode, however, everyone is getting worse or barely hanging on. It really makes me wonder how helpful forums such as this one is to people, and if places like this do more to hinder rather then help people because we stay stagnant, listening to and trying the same crap. I personally do not comment on posts if I can't offer anything outside of the norm and what I know people already know and have tried. Sorry for the rant; however, I'm just frustrated with hearing the same dam things over and over again.

I see her everywhere. In my car, at the door, under my desk, the neighborhood. I want to hold her and kiss her so...

I lost my dog last July to cancer, as some of you might remember. It was devastating and I got very depressed, but through treatment I got back to "my normal" last month. I've been poking around the rescue sites to adopt a dog and I've seen a few since July and I visited them but decided I wasn't ready. I actually adopted one in September but realized I was too depressed and it was a mistake so I...
