Does anyone have anxiety/worries that are easily triggered? I've been in a real bad spell and my anxiety is triggered so easily lately. If I see or hear about something bad (real or fiction) I begin to worry it will happen to me. I can't watch the news. Those car insurance commercials talking about accidents drive me up the wall because it triggers me badly. I had to stop watching my favorite show (Game of Thrones) and the current Bible miniseries because the violence triggers me. I mean come on, it's the bible and yet I can't watch it because I worry those things will happen to me. I have driving anxiety (particularly about driving distances) and any time I hear people talking about driving to this place or that place it triggers my anxiety. Even characters in sitcoms talking about driving to somewhere triggers me.
It just feels like everything triggers my anxiety and I'm constantly worrying. It seems to be getting worse and I don't know what to do.

They tell me things like "calm down" "I didn't notice my phone" and other things like that. Other things trigger me as well, but that's just an example. Do you have anything you can do that helps ease it?
Commercials about any health topics also bug me too.
I had 3 months sitting in a chair at one point of my anxiety, and it was wonderful. Just taking away all of those stresses for long enough for me to relax. It was wonderful. If you want to avoid stress, go ahead. I did it and it made a huge difference to me in terms of toning down the anxiety. Nowadays I make sure I don't absorb more than I can handle.
