a little backstory: my dad used to be a really bad drug addict
my mom called me this morning to tell me my dad found a rolled up dollar bill on the table. my brother came back from college for christmas and i guess last night he possibly brought coke into their house. i know this isn't my responsibility and i cannot take responsibility for his actions but when my mom calls me with information like that i can't let it go. she's scared of my brothers addictive personality and my dad drools just hearing about it. i think i feel responsible because i've done coke (only on occasion) and not becomw addicted and when i told my brother that he probably thought he could do it too. why do i feel like i have to take this responsibility on?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Stop; pause; breathe.
Your mom called you.
Writing it out is a safe way to release your feelings, thoughts, emotions, and words.
Not a problem for you. Just a heads up for the next time you are in contact with your brother. I would stay out of it.
You didn't cause it, you can't control it, you can't cure it, Yoss.
Vent freely and vent often here. Steadying support while you sort. You are not alone.
Well done, indeed.
Pass the sushi.
