Anxiety Support Group

Hi everyone, new member here. I'm so glad to find this group! Since the day after Christmas I've felt anxious and dream like, I've heard that this is a common feeling for people with anxiety, wondering if any of you deal with it as well and how you get through it? I have been sick with Bronchitis as well, felt alot better yesterday, drove, went to the store and doctor's office, but after starting my 2nd zpak(maybe the reason) last night, woke up with vertigo and dreamlike feeling again all day today. I've had this issue since I was a kid at times, but usually only lasts a couple hours, not a full week.

Yes, it does seem that zpak would cause some dizziness. It is a strong antibiotic. And having bronchitis could also be causing dizziness, vertigo. I would suggest resting as much as possible, and I do think that once you are healed from this, and off the antibiotic, that your symptoms will be a lot better! Feel better soon!
I am hopeful you will feel better this weekend, though :)
Yes, dizziness and dissociation are common symptoms with my anxiety, but they are also symptoms of respiratory distress and side effects of antihistamines and several other cold remedies. In my own anxiety management, I do like to address physical symptoms before I worry the psych symptoms. Most of my anxiety management calls for a process of elimination and the physical candidates are the easier ones to address. Easier, but still not always easy.
Keep us posted, Joni. Listening. . . Welcome aboard.
