Given how deeply my mental health issues are affected by those general life problems, I believe those general life problems fit on any and all of the boards.

In my personal herstory, that phenom of getting the rug whipped out from under me seems to be a constant. Thank the cosmos for a well-equipped psychotherapy tool box on that one.
One of the tools in my box is, "Don't compare my insides to other people's outsides." That sense that everyone else is doing better than I am sure feeds my low self-esteem and the anxieties attached. From sufficient distance, I look like I'm doing great, too.
You’re absolutely right, comparing ourselves to others is a completely pointless exercise as you never really know what is going on in someone else’s life.
As quite an anxious person myself, I hate the feeling of not knowing what the future holds! These things often have a way of working themselves out if we’re patient - that is until the next big surprise comes along!
The anticipation is kinda nummy when I let it be okay that I don't know what the future may or may not hold.
But then. . . I'm a multiply certified nutjob, too. . .
