Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Hello,
I was wondering if any of you sometimes get nervous when you're not feeling anxious. The anticipation of an attack makes it hard to ever fully relax. Today was mostly a good day for me but now I am feeling on edge and feel like I'm intentionally scanning my body searching for something. I already feel a bit of neck tension coming in and I can only hope I distract myself enough that nothing happens.
Also woke up with a nosebleed this morning. It's happened about twice before and I've only ever got this after I started dealing with anxiety. It's always in the same nostril. The right one. It's not that much blood but still makes me a little nervous. Thoughts? Maybe I'll make a separate post for this.
My heart goes out to us all going through this. It's no easy test. Thank you for all the kind words and support.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
i think what it has taught me is that i can learn to switch that obsession off and just be in the moment.
It is not at all easy to do though.
i empathize.
Sometimes it even works on the first try! ! !
Once you find the trigger or marker, you work on that to find the calm in that moment. Then, you work on reducing anxiety by continuing those things that help you find calm in neutral.
That 'neutral' calm needs to be filled with more ways to continue the path of less anxiety and more calm, so you can continue your daily living activities.
Stay focused in the moment when you reach 'neutral'.
Best wishes in feeling better in balance.
