With drastic diet changes it is very possible that your system reacted.
Oddly, this is a very familiar worry: not being able to take care of yourself. Because we are all afraid that anxiety may control our lives and then we will not be able to take care of ourselves as we should.
Odd though, because if I think about it: are we kidding ourselves here?
There are so many factors in life that can strip us completely of the control we have over our own lives. Accidents, environmental changes, financial changes, health changes.
Do we expect too much of ourselves when we always push for this?
Just wondering
Most of the help I need is so simple - someone to call and check in on me, to run to the grocery, to be kind. And I'm lucky that I have that now. But I get anxious thinking if I didn't have these friends what would happen?
Isn't it funny how we tend to handle real issues with great skill and ease but freak out about things that probably will never even happen?
Sometimes it helps to laugh at myself and my silliness.
