General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

So today, I decided to go out. I went to my girlfriends house to relax and watch movies. We watched Megamind (I highly recomend it lol) In the middle of the movie, my thoughts began racing for a moment, I couldn't control them. And a full blown panic attack came on. As i was calming down, I had the feeling of not being in the room, and i even started to question if i was real, this scared the crap out of me. It was an awfull feeling. While all this was happening my girlfriend had no clue i was even freaking out. I thought, this movie MUST be that good, and thats why i'm recomending it all of you. LOL Anyway, does anyone else freak out when this happens? Is it safe?
Also, I just want to take a moment to thank you all for the wonderful advice you all have given me. It feels like i post alot on here but i worry alot about useless stuff and knowing that you guys are here makes me feel hopeful. I wish there was some magical way for all of us in this group to never feel this way again. But sadly that's not the case. But if we keep being there for each other, things won't look as bad as they seem..again Thank You All!
Stay Safe.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I spent most of the day at a friends house to get away from the apts I live in. Real pretty day and sat outside and walked in the park nearby. Then came home feeling pretty good. Neighbor next to me was blasting music, People upstairs were having a knock down. I mean glass was breaking and screaming. She takes off and he follows her. Next thing we knew we could hear the smoke alarm going off and we couldn't get in. We called the fire dept and police. Goes to show some days I want to feel like i'm not really here. lol So now i'm looking for a place to move ugh! So this is really good for the anxiety yeh! right.
Hang in there . We will overcome and this too shall pass!!!!!
Anxiety affects us in strange ways, and knowing it's anxiety is a big relief when you realize that no one else knows what's happening, and so you can just move forward, enjoy the event like a movie or whatever, and be positive that you are healing!
Neighbors can be nasty, no matter where you live.
I have noticed that people who are high tend to do this a lot. lol (My brother liked to party, so i have witnessed a LOT of high people in my day.) The only difference is that they are high and think its hysterical. We are nervous and scared and high strung people, so when it happens to us, we freak out about it and, of course, wonder "what it means", and obsess and dwell on it which only makes the feeling worse.
The thing to remember is that nothing about anxiety is worth analyzing. Nothing.. not the palpitations. Not the fear. Not the intrusive thoughts. Not depersonalization. Not panic attacks. Not throat tightening. Nothing. It is all just gunk inside our heads that is completely meaningless. And it is a never ending cycle anyway. There is no answer. We are never going to analyze a feeling so much that it doesn't bother us anymore. That will NEVER happen. Analyzing a symptom will never make us feel better. Questioning things only creates more questions. The only way to make it better is to NOT analyze it and just let it go. We have to ignore out strong urge to question and wonder and obsess.
It is so hard, because we are the magnet and analyzing is the steel. But we gotta fight it and just train ourselves to get focused on something else.
I totaly agree with mideyebrow.... Neighbors can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. Luckily, I live in a house. But my frieds live in apartments and people are so loud and rude. I dobt think i would handle that much.
