I'm not sure if this is a great post to read for those with health anxiety but I really need some support
so I went to the oral surgeon for the front tooth pain dilemma. He ordered a cat scan because he saw a shadow above pained tooth. He said it was a cyst Dental cysts near dead problematic teeth are common. Not necessarily a problem. But it was big and he felt it might be holding the tooth's infection. This might be why my regular dentist could not see the infection or understand my pain idk
i had oral surgery on wed. He took the from tooth and also removed the cyst. It was a very difficult procedure for me as I didn't realize he didn't use sedation until after it started I just presumed he did and so we used nova Caine which blocked most of the pain but nothing for my anxiety
I had a few panic attacks thru the procedure and told him. Unfortunately he really didn't have a great bed side manner and asked me to please stay still so he could do what he needed to do
i got thru it. It's day 3 of recovery and I am struggling I really question everything. What's normal what's not. I've called with questions but my anxiety is thru the roof stitches galore it's not pretty.
I hope it's ok I shared here. I could use any words.

She basically had been monopolizing conversations for that long too. She pretty much stopped asking me questions about me. I passed her in front of her classroom the other day and didn't even look at her. I am...
You got through it.
