Anxiety Support Group

I just learned that covid-19 after effects range from stroke to psychosis. A small percentage of people who never had mental health issues, or family history, that may have had only mild covid symptoms, are exhibiting symptoms of psychosis. The only corolation is that they had covid. As stressed as I am that my mom, my wife or I might get covid and die, I am just as stressed about the percentage of millions world wide and in the USA who will develop psychosis in the next year. I'm not convinced this isn't what happened with the recent suicide bombing. Just when it seemed as bad as it could be they put psychosis on the table. All of this on my mind and I just had a first attack of glossopharyngeal neuritis that lasted almost a week. Unilateral throat and ear pain with no other symptoms. Treatment if it returns is medication or brain surgery. I am at my witts end. I talk to my wife and it upsets her. I don't dare talk to my mom about things. I have never been clinically depressed, never been on meds and I am not irrational, but I am stressed beyond any memory. I am thankful for what I have but there's a dread in the back of my mind. Like being in a sympathetic, fight or flight mode all day long. Thanks for your time.

She basically had been monopolizing conversations for that long too. She pretty much stopped asking me questions about me. I passed her in front of her classroom the other day and didn't even look at her. I am...
Keep it simple, short, and sweet. When you're trying to balance the 'in the moment' view, keep it focused on the basics.
There is a lot of media exposure and not all of it is showing accuracy or even a measure of truth.
Take the time to put your thoughts back into a balance of what you are doing, and work with your information for you personally.
You've taken the important first step in writing it out.

One who has it now is a coworker and she’s is on line still working from home. I video conferenced her yesterday and she just sounds like she has a cold. She said she’s tired but otherwise ok.
I’m just saying most people recover just fine. Some don’t but that is the exception not the rule. The best thing I’ve done for myself is to not read all the horror stories that are out there. I don’t believe they serve any purpose other than to stoke hysteria.
