Hello, I am new to this website and hope all are well. I was diagnosed with GAD last summer. I have experienced anxiety throughout my whole life and only the past year I've really accepted how bad it is and opened up more which has made me realise how much it actually impacts me in life! Every day is a battle even on the good days and it is just as if it is never going to get better.
I have tried many things to cope from medication to mindfulness and just wondered what other methods there are that others have tried to ease the anxiety/control it better that I may not have tried before. Thank you!

Keep a daily journal to help you sort through the feelings, emotions, thoughts, and words.
Best wishes as you find your better balance.
I believe that this space will help me to know I am not alone in this struggle and felt I needed to reach out today. Means a lot to have these kind of responses :-)
Breath slowly and watch the river on the screen. Birds chipping helps. On Utube or outside. I like to watch the leaves swaying in the breeze, clouds in sky,
birds flying. Nature calms me down.
Mid, such great advice.
