3 years ago I was in exactly the same boat as you. I was 19/20 and I fell for a lad who we will name Ben for the sake of things. He was in the RAF and I loved the bones off him, loved him so much that I put up with him coming home 2 or 3 times a month, then saying he'd rather see his friends .. but he told me everything I want to hear and when we were together it was amazing. but the fact of the situation was, is that I had to fight to be in his agenda. I loved him so much it had to be me that saw straight through him. In the end I found out he had cheated on me and no only that, got the god damn girl pregnant behind my back as well possibly exposing me to any STD's and that. But yet I still took him back!!! Anyway it took my strength to end it and what I am getting at is that you were strong enough to make that decision yourself and a lot of women out there stay in broken relationship for the sake of it and make excuse after excuse.
I do have sympathy for you because I know how you feel and you just want to hibernate because you feel like that one thing that you had that was going well for a bit is now gone. I do still think about the man named Ben, sometime a friend request on Facebook will pop up, or I will get some pissed up pathetic message off him via email (which is the only way he can contact me now as I changed my number and also moved now) saying that i was the best thing he ever had and nothing will change that and one day he will win me back. well when I got engaged. I accepted his friend request over Facebook and when he saw it I got the most pathetic sorry message off him and that was that. my reply was one word. 'Bye' - he still tries to add in-between the different girls he goes through but I no now, that, that man that was meant for me was out there and I have him now and the pain that the man named Ben put me through, has gone, you just have to be strong and put yourself out there and meet new people, and hope that your Mr.Right will come along one day and then all that love you want to give which is making you feel so lonely will hit you right bang in the face and you will wonder what all this heartache was all about.
