Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Life seems to be simply difficult lately. My ocd has subsided somewhat but I'm realizing that at the root of my anxiety is low self esteem and not knowing how to release anger. My counselor asked me how I deal with my anger and I was stumped. I guess I repress it and don't let myself feel angry for some reason. Then that turns into anxiety. I think I have a lot of interior work to do and I know how I want to be but I can't seem to be that way yet. The process of integration and maturation is long and arduous. I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
As it is, learning how to recognize, validate and channel my anger has gone a long way toward healing my self-esteem. There are things in this world should piss of even the goodest of Good Girls. Validate and channel.

Gentle support while you sort your own case.
Once I started writing in a private journal and expressing my anger freely and in a safe place, it was easier to sort through everything calmly.
Best wishes as you find your better balance.
