As far as I know a col throat is not a symptom of anxiety, but your confusion over it sounds like it is causing you anxiety.
You could try visiting your general practitioner and see if they have anything to say about it.
If they don't know what it is either, you may have to just accept it and move on, as we have to with so many things.

I'm glad you're getting an ent to check it out. Until then hang on in there. maybe eat mints to mask the sensation?
