I am so sorry that you are feeling this way. Your post was somewhat reassuring to me because I too am experiencing the same symptoms due to anxiety. For the past few days, my chest is very tight and I feel like I can't breathe at times, which of course has sparked many panic attacks. I have always suffered from chest tightness as an anxiety/stress symptom, however, I think that COVID has exacerbated this feeling because I used to be able to chalk it up to anxiety and work through it, now I get inundated with fear that my symptoms are COVID related.

I use to have issues with breathing bc I would focus on my air intake and how shallow it was etc. Then I noticed it was bc I was focusing on it that it was so bad. Distraction allowed me to not worry about. Bc your body breathes on its own, whether you like it or not lol
Thank you guys for the suggestions, and I think the comment that helped the most was that my body will breath on it's own whether I like it or not.
