Good Luck Buddy! xxoo
For me - YES caffeine is a HUGE trigger.
Just this past Monday I was at Starbucks with my mom and by the time we had finished our drinks just before we left I got a horrifying panic attack- luckily it lasted less than 30 seconds and she was there to help me through it, but for the next couple of hours afterwards I felt REALLY weak and tired.
The plan for me now is to stop the coffee! It definitely can be a trigger
This goes for sugar as well.
Weed... can also cause you to feel anxious. Don't worry :) just cut it out if you don't like the feeling. This reaction is not pathologic or unique. Most pot-heads don't notice the anxiety or don't tell anyone, but you aren't alone.
I react to caffeine, sugar, and weed. So I avoid or use them in moderation. Its all good.
Something I have noticed though is that I just can't drink alcohol like I used to. Even two cocktails is too much for me a lot of times. I don't know if it's just getting older, I'm only 39 but still!
And age does have an affect sadly :(
I have had anxiety attacks when I have not changed anything, it was a sound that set it off, and when I think of it, I go get a glass of water, that helps reduce the shakiness, wrung out feelings.
Hope you feel better today!
