I decided to spend the weekend with a buddy of mine I've know. since the 9th grade. I haven't really been away from home since my anxiety symptoms came back, so prior to me going I was thinking about all the bad things that could happen. Of course nothing bad did happen. Being amongst friends really did make me forget about my anxiety all together. It's good to laugh and think back of how dumb we were back in High School.I needed this. There was a rough panic attack during the day however, but with the techniques I've learned, I crushed it within minutes. I feel good now. Hopefully this positive energy will last. But for now, my fears have been reduced, And for the first time in a few weeks, I am cool, calm, and collected. I recommend you to surround yourself with positive people. it is a great feeling. who knows maybe you can even mend a broken friendship like I did :)

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Now, you are ready to keep at it, and doing the techniques to help you through the panic attack is terrific!
Having a "fun" time with friends is the best way to beat back the doldrums and get your natural drumbeat back!
