Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
One of the biggest problems for me is feeling like a burden. For feeling like if I text someone first too many times they'll get so annoyed with me to the point that they wont want to hangout with me anymore. That my presence is unwanted and that I force people into being my friends. I know this is irrational, because I have some great friends who really care about me. I just am never able to shake the feeling that I am not good enough. This is why its so hard for me to make new friends, and I especially struggled with this at the begining of this school year (first year of college). I have made some good friends though. The thing is alot of them go to the community college nearby and are ending school already whereas I have another month at the school I'm at. My anxiety is at an extreme high as I prepare for them to go, and as I prepare to be alot more lonely over the next month before I go home to my family and other friends. I'm trying not to let it get me down but its so hard as they bring me so much happiness and help me get through alot of stuff I struggle with in regards to school and anxiety in general. I know I shouldnt be dependent on them for my happiness but in a large part they affect my wellbeing in such a positive way that I'm just so frightened of how I'm going to feel when they are gone, because my lows can get pretty low. They leave this saturday and I havent been able to focus on anything other than that impending date. I know its just all in my head.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

my advice would be to look around for a support group. There are many kinds and if you do a little research you could find one to try in your area. They are awesome support, you meet all kinds of people and youll realize what a relief it is to be supported by people who think, feel and have been through things that you may relate to. It may be scary at first but you can sit and listen until you are comfortable to share. This will help with loneliness alot.
How long have you struggled with self worth? A one on one therapist may also be a good idea to help you sort out these issues and help you calm some of this stress.
These two things build onto your support system and can also give you tools to cope with your lows. You will have another outlet and maybe feel a bit better about feeling
that youre overexhausting your supports. A few specific groups to look for are CBT and/or DBT groups. These are very helpful subjects to learn about, go on ebay or amazon and find a book or workbook on these. Whatever you choose i hope you find something to help and hope you feel better. Here to talk if you need.
