Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I have a horrible day. I called Geico to ask them about the job. Someone else got the job and I didn't get it. They told me to apply again in six months because I am qualified for the job.
I went to the P.D. and gave them my resignation. It is effective on 12-31-08 and I am on vacation until then. I have numerous court dates for the next few months too. I am leaving them on very good terms and I was given a few letters of recommendations from them.
A horrible sinking feeling came over me for a while. I am not looking at a very short time left for employement and no job opportunities that I know of.
I have put applications with two Sheriff's Offices in my area but they aren't hiring. It could change because I am certified and I have a lot of experience so a sheriff could maybe overload his department to pick me up. I guess I will also be putting an application in with some other Police Departments. This economy is so bad that Police Departments and Sheriff's Offices aren't hiring. Ugh!
I didn't want to fall back in the trap of law enforcement but at this point I am feeling desperate for a job. Some department is bound to pick me up because of my certifications, qualifications, and my specializations.
I feel discouraged at this point but I know that I am doing what I have to do to get by. Something is bound to come up but I hope that it is sooner than later.
Why do I have to do everything the hard way? Why can't anything go easy for me? I feel like am destined to climb up hill and fighting the whole way.
I just wish I didn't have any debt hanging over my head. If I didn't I could hold out for an incredible amount of time but I am looking at neededing to get a job by the end of Feburary.
My anxiety is kicking in an my blood pressure is 151/101 which is bad. I am on three blood pressure meds and it is still that high. I am really nervous, jittery, and my mind is going in a million directions at one time! UGH!
My parents don't understand what General Anxiety Disorder is like and I can't seem to make them understand that I have no control over my worrying. They said that I just need to pull myself together and think clearly but I don't have the ability to do this.
I just took another Clonipam. I can take two a day and this is my second one. I had to take two yesterday too. It really doesn't seem to be helping all of the way.
I really wonder if I qualify for disability retirement because of my anxiety, high blood pressure, and previous heart attach. It is so tempting to try and get it.
This sucks. I hate the position that I am in.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
If you need to work right away maybe you could look at other career options that may not pay the best but have a lot less stress to deal with. If anything those type of jobs could keep you going until you find something you would really like to do. Stay strong and just try and take it one day at a time:)
What about trying for a private security agency? Those positions seem like less stress.
It was very stressful this week. I thought I was having a heart attack at one point. I had to leave the office for an hour and just sit in my car to get the heart rate down. It's not good. I take herbal calming stuff - called Pure Calm you can get it at www.nativeremedies.com or I take calms forte www.calmsforte.com. Both really help when I get feeling anxiety and heart palps. It makes it stop. Both are relaxants. But herbal. You should try.
The job market is stressing everyone out I think. It's a scary, scary world right now. Hang in there.
