Ok, so I am a hypocondriac and my anxiety level is sooo high
I had my baby 15 months ago, and I had an epidural. Before my baby I never suffered from back pain. I remember the day I started getting the back pain.
However, I go online (bad idea) and I self diagnose. No I am terrified thinking its the worse!
Can someone please tell me if they have suffered pain in lower back, that stays in the hips and sometimes the thighs? I am so freaked out, its not even funny!
The weird thing is, when my husband massages it or when I am not at work, it does not hurt! I can actually press on it and I can feel where its sore. Could it have been the epidural?
I am over weight and I have PCOS... HELP :

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
First off..you will be OK..remember that... just relax and breath :)...Perhaps you have PMS.. when I get PMS well mine is more Pre Menopausal now lol but still same things happen... sore lower back... always as anxious people, we can make the pain worse...by dwelling on it... I suspect every woman has had a lower backaches... things happen after we have had our bodies altered by childbirth..The trick is to not let it consume you... Smile.. Life is good.. and so many people have it so much worse than we do.:) I know that may be little comfort to you..but I have suffered from acute anxiety attacks for many many years.... and it sure would have been nice to have something, like this forum back then... I had to learn to deal with it. by myself...I still take lorazepam for it... The one thing i can honestly say is.. I let Anxiety ruin my 20's and 30's.... I sure don't mean to go on and on like this... I hope your back feels better soon :) God Bless and Peace
I know everybody's situation is different, but before I started taking medication for my anxiety I use to think the worst of any little thing wrong with me. I think my history of hypochondria had to do a little with the fact that my mother took myself and my siblings to the doctors for EVERYTHING. She lost a child when he was only three from pneumonia, so after this she was not willing to take her chances on any of her other children becoming too sick.
Are you taking anything for your anxiety? I'd rather not take medication if I didn't have to, but it does help me think straight and not worry about things. I think it is no brainer I'd rather be happy than sad. So for me the medication has helped. Also this may sound funny but are you top heavy in term of your chest? I say this because one of my best friends is very large up top and she lower back pain from time to time. If you have a larger upper body this could be causing your back pain as well. Do yourself a favor and try to not go online and self diagnose yourself. Take it from a person who has some anxiety as well. I can think the worst of situation as well. :o) Hope this helps. Katie
At work, do you sit in one position or stand in one position for any length of time? Is the pain worse by the end of the day, or does it come and go during the day?
Good luck!
