Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. I read the book "At Last A Life" by Paul David that is very enlightening. It does explain alot about anxiety and anxiety related symptoms, as well as, a plan for recovery from all the various stages. It's an easy read and very insightful. I myself for maybe a lack of understanding, have yet mastered the recovery part- but it has helped me to better understand anxiety and panic. If you google the title of the book, you can go to the main site and download it. It's well worth the price based on the information it contains. I am not saying it will cure anxiety or that you should buy it, but it does give some very valuable information concerning anxiety/panic.It may help someone else.

I've read it. I have the app on my iPhone. Called "Anxiety No More" gives you access to the book, plus a lot of other things. It is an absolutely good book and app. I'll reference it for comfort here and there just to remember it will get better and I'm not alone. It was also the first thing to explain depersonalization/derealization to me which was a huge relief. Great post!

The book truly does shed alot of light on the subject of panic/anxiety. Much more than a therapist could tell you. It takes away alot of the guessing. It was the best book I have gotten to date. I must have had every single symptom there is and then some. The only one I can't seem to shake is when I am in what I think is a deep sleep, I will have a panic attack that scares the life out of me. I guess until both my mind and body heal, I will just have to deal with it as best as I can. It's a very freaky thing though. As for the other symptoms, of which I have experienced, I am still learning to "take them w/ a pinch of salt".

I bought this Ebook just a few days ago...I really like what he says....and how he's not saying..."get on medication" or "seek therapy"...it's refreshing and comforting to read stuff from people who have went through it and got better and have confidence that others can too...without the assistance of expensive therapy or medicine. I am not dissing therapy or medication...I've done both...I'm just saying...I like being reminded that we have the power within ourselves to combat so many of our problems. I highly recommend this book.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
