Normally I do not talk about meds but this one was different. It is the only one that made me feel different, other that benzos but I avaoid them now.
Have been taking the gabapentin for 3 weeks now and would like to hear from anyone who has experience with this med. It was prescribed for me as a solution for diabetic nerve pain and I was suprised to find that it effected my mood. But my mood changes by day. Some days I feel manic and others the same old "what if" kind of thinking comes back with a vengance. Hoping this "mood stabilizer", as a google search revealed, will stabilize and I will feel in the middle of these two states. I do take it with an SSRI (Prozac) and the web has also revealed that these two a good when taken with each other. Sometimes the feeling I have is the best in 35 years and I have never been able to say this. Any comments greatly appreciated.
