Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
So the last couple of days I’ve just been so anxious for no apparent reason. It’s so weird. This is the first time I’ve not been in a Relationship and it’s going on five or six months. But I am going through a divorce which will be final in another month or two. This in between time of getting rid of a partner and not having one to fall back on is just plain weird. And I guess I’m lonely. Yep I said it. The first few months of the separation from my wusband was great! I needed that independence and I was doing things solo and it was great. Now I’m like ok the divorce will be final in August or September. I don’t have a boyfriend or anyone I want to get serious with. I have some suitors who are pursuing me but I’m not interested in any of them. lol the ones I like don’t text or call often and I’m getting frustrated with the whole dating scene. Will I end up alone for a long period of time. Suppose I start getting used to being alone. What if I become afraid to show emotion or love again. And all of this is causing restless nights. I’m just grateful I can share these feelings on the site without judgement.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
I sometimes wonder if the most important tool I picked up from psychotherapy is how to back off from my OCD drive to have immediate, neat and summarized explanations for those unexplained anxieties. The drive was causing me to random target whatever target was handy. There was always another romance to solve all my problems, another job to quit, another social circle to run from, another chump to dump, or. . . or. . . or. . .
My unexplained anxiety attacks continue to this day, but they are far more easily managed when I am not continually sabotaging my life for the sake of trying to be free of *Them.*
But that is me. . .

Your twin brother is missing *his* family jewels, kennedi. Not that I expect you to see that detail over the internet, or even in person since I shaved my head.
Hi five, Bro. . .
I divorced 10 years ago and decided I needed to work on myself.
My marriage was highly volatile on so many levels and it caused a bunch of deep scars that needed healing. I tried to date a few times, but was unsuccessful and backed off so as to find out why I attract certain men and ppl in general into my life. I want better and it takes time to heal....hence my being single this long.
I have beat anxiety and am cured of that. I suffered from it for 50+ years, but finally took the cure.
I feel I am finally ready to date, but I am very choosy and finally can tell if a person is good for me (I got in touch with my intuition).
I'm ok with myself if I don't meet someone cuz I am comfortable with myself.....finally!!!
I'm ok with uncertainty.....in fact......I love a good adventure and mystery. What else is possible and how does it get any better than that?
I’m so glad I was able to help a little. You are going to be fine. Be gentle with yourself and give yourself some time. Feel free to message me anytime you need to talk. Take care.
