Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
How would you know what it is you're reacting to? Maybe the withdrawal is synergistic, not just additive? Diff. meds also have different half-lifes in your body, Zoloft being fairly long.
Anyway, good luck, stay safe.
Your brain can't work if you do that. It stops working. You don't have the chemicals necessary to think because your body stopped producing them. Blimey. Go to the doctor. You can get off them - it's fine to get off them. But slowly! Very very slowly. Gauging at all times whether you're feeling it too much or not.
you have to go off your meds very slowly. Very slowly. One at a time. Oh man. The newspapers are filled with people that went off their meds cold turkey. They shoot up schools, they shoot up churches, they shoot up movie theatres and they kill themselves. it's not a good idea, it really isn't.
Sorry not being very gentle but please, please, go back on one of your meds and just taper a little off the other. It could take 1 or 2 yrs to get off meds. You have to go off real, real slow! :)

2 months is long enough to have problems withdrawing and doctors don't always get it. They say 'take a week' but this stuff is not antibiotics. This is brain altering psychoactive medication. Xanax is a benzodiazepine.
Watch your body, and make sure if you have feelings of harm to anyone that you understand it's a brain fart and not a true desire. It can be hard to identify what is 'you' speaking in this state. If you find yourself wanting to commit suicide or harm anyone (even for their 'own sake') get back to your doctor, and take a half dose. You really should be stepping down off this stuff, even if it's only a 3 month taper. One guy went off bennies and heard voices. For three months he heard voices. They wondered if he was schizophrenic. They were going to put him on meds for schizophrenia.
And all it was was coming off benzo... (i refuse to try and spell that word again.)
