Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Hello All. It has been a while since my last post. My doctor has started me on Remeron 15mg, and I'm coming up on 2 weeks on Friday. I've noticed some progress, and I have mostly better days, but still have bad days, (like today.) I was also prescribed Klonopin .50mg for when the going gets tough. I know it's early on in my treatment, and I'm still continuing with a therapist every week, but is it normal to still experience bad days after have good days previously? How long before I know that I really am on the correct medication? My anxiety, panic attacks, and depression were so out of control previous to starting this treatment, and I really just don't want to go back to that. This has genuinely been the most traumatic experience of my life. Thank you for taking the time to read. All responses are appreciated.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Keep a daily private journal to help you see all the accomplishments you are making with the medicine, therapy, and writing!
Best wishes.
Butttttaaaa. . . I ain't holding my breath while I wait. I bet *they* come up with the Covid vaccine long before they find either one of those cures.
Steadying support while you work it through, Nicki. There may not be a cure for bad days, but we get by with a little help from our friends. Be gentle with yourself and patient with the process.
Great for you, you are doing such a good job. Anxiety is such a waiting game and there is just no quick fix. Oh and .50 Klonopin is great to take too, is that just for at night?
You're doing great! Stick with it!
