Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I am actually in the same situation. My anxiety was really bad when I was in my relationship with my boyfriend. He would go out and my mind would start to make up stuff especially when he would hang out with his female friend even when he avoided her for me we would still fight over things her when she wasnt even around. I would also try to handle it on my own but it didn't work. Unfortunately things didn't work and my relationship ended and not until now I have gone back to therapy which have eased my mind. I was also blaming myself and I except the fact that I made our relationship difficult and I accept fault the only thing I can advice you that I am starting to realize is to focus on yourself and fix you and your mind and hopefully he sees how you have changed on his own and maybe things turn around but also realize that maybe you catch someone elses attention and just take this as a learning experience. But I feel your pain cause trust me I still have my days of guilt and how things are never going to get better.
There's a saying that I love: "Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self esteem, make sure you are not, in fact, surrounded by a**holes."

Anxiety is not your fault. It manifests in an emotional way, but that doesn't make it any less valid.
It sounds like you're really making progress and working hard to get there. It's so difficult because you try to go out and do things that are fun, but even if you can, the anxiety makes it unpleasant so you can't really have fun.
I've found the best people to be with are those that are quiet homebody types who, when they do go out, like smaller gatherings.
I'm sorry the relationship didn't work out, but try not to blame yourself. I hope you can find a partner who values you and is willing to support you as you work to overcome your anxiety.
