Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. I have to regularly get my eyes checked for glaucoma. Many eye conditions are treatable in today's world, assuming you have eye issues.
You might also consider seeing a neurologist. We are learning that there are many conditions more common than we once thought. I've heard that Alan Alda has Asperger's, for example. A symptom of dyspraxia, something I have, is an over-sensitivity to light and trouble with eye movements and focusing. You may want to look it up, or simply Google your eye issues. and I would be tired if I were staring at a computer all day and doing that kind of driving. can you take short breaks throughout the day? get up...walk around..do some eye exercises, stretch?
good luck! I hope it all gets better soon!
Yes, it could just be eye strain. One of the best solutions is to take the breaks you are entitled to (probably 10 min. in the morning, 10 min. in the afternoon and 30 minutes at lunch) as well as turning away from your computer screen and stretching every 20 minutes or so - just 30 seconds or so..
Here are some good tips. The one I've heard to be most successful is getting an anti-glare screen for your computer.
