Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I don't know if this is a uti or not. It doesn't burn when I pee but my bladder area burn/hurts all the time. I pee all the time though. I will just finish going and then have to go again. As I said it burns and sort of little stabbing pains in my bladder/lower groin area. I've been trying the cranberry juice and apple cider vinegar for the past couple days and it is not helping in fact it got worse so maybe it irritated me more?
As a highly anxious person who is also agoraphobic and a hypochondriac I keep thinking bladder cancer or maybe something else. I know it can't be a std or anything to do with sex because truthfully I have been completely abstinent from sex in all forms for many years now.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

Sometimes, our anxiety brings out the chemical balance change in a sensitive area and the sensation stays long after the chemical balance has gone back to normal.
Bladder spasms are painful, and if they are connected to anxiety attacks or acute anxiety levels, will happen to present symptoms such as you mention.
The best thing you can do to help relieve the bladder spasms is to massage the lower abdomen area gently, keep drinking liquids of any kind, and just relax every time the spasm hits (I know, it's hard to do, yet it does work for this part).
Stop anticipating the pain and embrace it...positive talk, and keep on breathing, relaxing, and distracting.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
if that is not possible....drink gobs of water.....take some ibuprofen...and if you can get your hands on d-mannose (super concentrated form of the stuff in cranberry that doesn't allow e-coli to stay in your bladder...) from the health food store-it will also help a lot,but only if your infection is caused by e-coli (which the majority are)
somehow I wouldn't think vinegar would be soothing to a bladder....if you have barley in the house--boil it and pour off the water to drink cool-it is soothing--and has a nice taste
don't take bubble baths-do wear cotton undies---don't drink or eat caffeine or sugary products.
I'm sorry you are going through this! I hope you feel better soon!
And yes anxiety can bring out all kinds of pains and things. I actually see a chiropractor for the pain in my neck (literally) that I get from clenching my jaw.
