I am almost half through my first semester of graduate school and I’m struggling. I got put on academic probation after getting below a 3.0 in the summer session and I’m really stressed. I worked so hard to get into grad school and now I’m thinking it was all for nothing. If I can’t improve my grades by the time the fall semester ends then I can’t stay for the spring semester. I’m constantly thinking that I don’t belong in this program and that I’m not smart enough to stay. I’m not happy and it’s affecting my social life. I don’t have very many friends and I’m far away from home. I’m 23 and I can’t get my shit together. I’m really worried. I don’t know what to do if I can’t continue with the program.

There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

You can complain. You can reset your schedule to have a complain time and then shove it aside to schedule a work pattern that develops the missing skills you need to get back on track for your long term goal.
Take away the title grad school and put in the image you want when you finish.
The best gift I can give you both is to say you have courage to start this, so finish it. Pull your shoulders back, hold head high, and figure out how you are going to finish this semester and seek help! Find resources, and go for it! You can do this!
