General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Ok, so I have Hypchondria and BIG time anxiety. And I am also a first time time!!!! GEEZ!! So as you can probably guess my anxiety with my daughter is horrible.
I have a question about the stomach virus/bug/flu
On Saturday around 4 in the morning my 3 yr old woke up crying because her tummy was hurting. She started throwing up like crazy. The throwing up ended around Sunday evening and then she would randomly throw up on Monday depending on if she ate or drank anything. But during that times she was just sleeping or laying down. I did take her to the Dr and she said alot of people are like that right now and its going around here in Houston.
So since Tuesday she has been eating small meals on and off and hasnt complained about her tummy hurting. She's playing like normal.
But randomly...she opens her little mouth as if she is gagging and asks for water and lays down for a few min...then gets right back up and starts acting her normal self. So I am guessing she gets sudden bouts of nausea.
She hasnt really been eating as much (she has a very hefty appetite) but she does ask to eat and seems to get full faster.
I was told this could last 7-10 days. Is this normal?? How have you moms handled this? I need some advice please....I am going crazy!!! I am scared and my mind starts thinking the worse thing!!! Also, she hasnt pooped since yesterday and she usually poops daily...but I am guessing since she really hasntl eaten that much she may not poop daily until she gets back to eating again.
I know I sound crazy...but I am scared. This is her first virus :-(

What you're seeing is normal for parents of little ones.
Stay hydrated, keep track of everything so you will be able to tell the difference easier.
Best wishes.
