Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Writing it out is important first step to finding your new balance.
Make time to go outside and enjoy nature, even if it's just from the porch, or the door.
Take time to do things that help you to feel better,
Best wishes.
Your English is not bad at all!
I want to immediately address your comment about feeling suicidal. This is an important thing to think about, and really you need to be sure that you have a plan for when these feelings come up. Is there a loved one, or someone close to you, that you can share this with, as well? That way, you have someone to go to if it gets really bad.
We all experience Anxiety in different ways. For me, I feel a pressure all around my body... I can't think straight... I feel like i'm moments from a heartattack... and often I can't just 'make these feelings go away'. Understanding how you feel when you're experiencing anxiety is a powerful place to start; once you know when you're anxious, you can start working on behaviors/thought processes that can help you feel less anxious.
What do you think brings about your anxiety? Is there ever a time when you KNOW you'll get anxious, based on something happening, or knowing that something will happen?
What things are you currently doing to help reduce your anxiety? Have you tried going on a walk or even breathing exercises? I really am partial to the 4-7-8 breathing exercise (in for 4 through nose, hold for 7, out for 8 through mouth, repeat for a full four 'breaths'). Focus on your breath, and the air coming and leaving your body, as you practice this exercise... this can help get your mind off of the 'anxiety' you feel; I typically do this a few times a day.
Thank you for sharing, and welcome!
I'm seeing a psychiatrist and I'm under medication. Also, I'm seeing a psychologist but due to the COVID-19 I can't have my therapies.
I like playing guitar, singing and dancing but now I don't want to do anything.
I have support from my family, friends and my boyfriend but sometimes they don't understand me like you do.
Sometimes I feel anxious with no reason, or sometimes is for something that happened and I remember it and I think it will happen again.
Now, I feel like I'm dying. I dot want to fight anymore. I'm very tired. :(
This country is already slowly starting to open some things up this Friday. Is your anxiety that you want to go do something and you can't?
It's a tough time for most everyone. I don't like it either!!! We will be back to our regular stuff soon....gotta hang in there. You're not alone.
Yes, we do understand the struggles with anxiety and depression. I have learned to live one day at a time. Some days are a great, while others I am struggling.
Are you on medication for your anxiety and depression? Do you see a counselor? That really helped me become more stable.
I know my episodes are due to when my chemicals are off in my brain. I have found that as I get older, my medication needs to be adjusted. I have also found taking a B6 supplement has been helping me.
I know it is tough with what is going on in the world. It is tough for everyone but with those of us who struggle with depression and anxiety it is harder. However, every day I try to focus on what is going well in my life. What I can be thankful for, and not focusing on the virus or the news.
Most days I don't watch the news because that can only add to anxiety, instead I try to fill my days with things that are uplifting and fun, like going on Zoom or other platforms to talk to friends, do bible studies, and online games. I found a great site that allows you to invite friends to play it is called Trickster.
I am also doing YouTube exercise videos to help. Exercising really helps with anxiety and depression. It helps our whole body including the chemicals in our brain.
Lastly, I focus my day around this song Day by Day, check it out on YouTube. It is from the show Godspell.
I am available if you ever need to chat. We are here for each other. You can pm me if you'd like. Hugs to you and God Bless.
